This is a neater hairstyle and suitable for sports or days where you want your hair kept back and not covering your face. This braid might be a little hard to do on yourself at first but will get easier with time. Difficulty: Medium

Tools:

- 1 comb/brush

- 2 small hair elastics/ hair ties

- 1 big hair elastic/ scrunchie

- bobby pins*

*Bobby pins will further secure the bun (useful if hairstyle is worn to sports or similar activities)

Method:

1. Gather the hair into a ponytail using a comb or brush.

2. Secure the ponytail using a small hair elastic.

3. Separate the hair into 2 equal parts and twist the individual parts to the right.

4. Take the twist on the right and cross it over the left twist.

5. Keep repeating step 4 until you run out of hair.

6. Secure the braid with another small hair elastic.

7. Coil the braid into a bun with the start of the braid as the center of the bun.

8. When the coil is done, tuck the ends under the bun.

9. Use a big hair elastic to tie around the bun and secure it (less secure).

OR

9. Bobby pin the bun into place (more secure).

And your hairstyle is complete. Happy Hairstyling!
